RV Chassis Master, Inc. is owned and operated by Peter Scalf-the "Answer Man" for RV Advice of the WWW, which is also syndicated in numerous nationwide newspapers. Pete also holds many ASE and other qualification ratings including Master Technician for Medium/Heavy Duty Truck. (a detailed listing can be found on the "factum" page of RV Advice).

This company was founded March 1, 1999, in Clermont, Florida with the ideal that RV customer service should be professional yet personal. Our company incorporated in the state of Tennessee May, 2007 and began business in the state of Tennessee, after moving our business here in July, 2007.

Our new facility in Tennessee is close to I-26, I-81, I-40 I-77, Bristol, Damascus, Johnson City, Asheville, Boone, Roan Mountain and Mountain City.

We are a factory authorized installer of BD Engine Brake, M&G Engineering tow braking systems, Remco drive shaft disconnects and lube pumps, Roadmaster towing and suspension products, Bilstein and Koni shocks, Versahual products, Safe-T-Steer, just to mention a few. We're also a factory authorized warranty center for Born Free Motorcoach, Dometic, Norcold and Suburban appliances. We are also an Onan and Generac certified service provider. We also sell a wide range of camping products including the Black Stallion free standing generator exhaust kit, Carefee and A&E awnings.

We are probably the only RV repair/service facility in the eastern U.S. with horse "camping" facilities as well as trout fishing in a state stocked creek. We have 410 feet of creek frontage for fishing and one full hook up campsite (30 or 50 amp) for overnight customers, provided free as well as WI-FI. The view of the mountains and deer are free too! Additional camping nights can be added, (if site is available), but we are a service center, not a campground; so the site is not available for camping on a regular basis.

Our 16,000 square foot metal building is located on 3 acres of flat land between Holston and Iron Mountain, very scenic! Indoors, besides the shop and shop store, there is a customer lounge, laundry, 10 horse stalls complete with indoor riding arena, indoor hot walker and several outside paddocks.

Pets on leashes are welcome while your coach is being serviced but before a horse is off loaded a negative Coggins statement is required.

Directions: From Interstate 26: take Exit #24 (old exit number 31), US 321 (SR67) to Elizabethton. Eight miles to junction of US-19E/321 and Highway 91 (four lane highway). Go 10.8 miles on north Highway 91. Highway 91 is a four lane, then three lane almost all the way to RV Chassis Master, Inc. Turns into a two lane highway about one mile from shop. We are on the right hand side of northbound Hwy. 91. We have two gated entrances/exits into our facility, with our sign between the two gates. Take the second northbound entrance to ensure proper turning clearance for large coaches or coaches towing a vehicle. Once entering the property drive to back of building for service.

From Interstate 81: Northbound: Take Bristol Motor Speedway exit # 69 or Hwy. 394 exit to US 11E (turn right), then turn left onto U.S. 19E (about 1 mile), follow directions for "southbound" after turning left on 19E. Southbound: Take BMS exit #3 and after passing BMS (you're on US 11E), about one mile turn left onto 19E and take to Elizabethton. Take Lovers Lane/Stony Creek/Hwy. 91 exit. Turn left at end of exit ramp. Go 10.8 miles north on Hwy. 91. This highway is a four lane, then three lane almost all the way to our shop. The highway turns into a two lane about one mile from us. We are on the right side (northbound). We have two gated entrances into our facility with our sign between the two gates. From Interstate 75: Take either I-75 north or southbound to Knoxville, to I-81 exchange. Take I-81 North and follow directions listed above for northbound Interstate 81.

From Interstate 40: If traveling east bound on Interstate 40 take to I-26 exchange. Take I-26 West and follow directions listed above for Interstate 26. If traveling west bound on Interstate 40 take to I-81 exchange. Take I-81 North and follow directions listed above for Interstate 81.
